Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use safe methods for washing cars?
- Yes! Your vehicle’s safety is one of our biggest priorities. We frequently replace our towels and wash mitts and clean all of our equipment to avoid scratches or swirl marks in your paint. We use deionized water (spot free) to avoid hard water spots even when washing in direct sunlight. All products we use are professional grade and trusted by thousands of other detailers in the industry to ensure we are delivering the best results and never compromising the condition of your car.
What types of products do you use for cleaning and sealing cars?
- In our experience, there’s no single brand that offers the best for all applications. We use a variety of brands including 3D, Adam’s, P&S, Kochemie, Gyeon, Rupes, and Meguiars. We choose products based on quality, ease of application/maintenance, and value. Some detailing products will cost twice as much as another but underperform the cheaper option and vice versa. Below is a list of some of the products we use everyday:
Exterior Products:
P&S Brake Buster Wheel and Tire Cleaner
3D PH Neutral Pink Car Soap
3D Si02 Ceramic Trim Restore
Rupes Uno Protect All-In-One Polish and Sealant
Adam’s Polishes UV Graphene Ceramic Coating
Meguiar’s Polishing and Cutting Compounds
Gyeon View EVO Glass Ceramic Coating
The Rag Company Professional Microfiber Towels
Interior Products:
P&S Express Interior Detailer
Kochemie Leather Star
P&S Carpet Bomber and Enzyme Cleaner
How do I know if my car needs a clay bar and what are the benefits?
- The easiest way to tell is if your car’s paint has a gritty, rough feeling to the touch after a wash. This is because there are contaminants that have bonded to your paint that a normal contact wash with soap and water won’t remove. A clay bar or a synthetic clay mitt will safely remove these contaminants and leave the paint feeling smooth like glass. This helps to keep the paint clean for longer and also provides smooth surface for waxes and sealants to be applied so they may bond properly.
Do you have a shop I can bring my car to?
- Yes! While we mostly do mobile services for clients, you can also bring your car to us in Irvine. This is also helpful if you live in an apartment complex that doesn’t allow mobile detailers to wash cars in the area. Our address is 14452 Majorca Ave, Irvine. Please schedule an appointment with us first before bringing your car.
What areas do you service for mobile detailing?
- We are based in Irvine but service all of Orange County. We do apply a distance fee for cities more then 25 minutes away from Irvine.
Can I subscribe to monthly/weekly maintenance details if I want to keep my car regularly clean?
- Yes! We offer Maintenance Details for customers who would like to keep their car frequently clean and save money in the process. Our Maintenance Details are priced at half of our Mini Detail package and will retain that pricing as long as you schedule at least one detail per month (assuming the car is also not heavily soiled each visit).
Should I get a ceramic coating or PPF (clear bra)?
- In our opinion, PPF makes sense for high value, luxury, exotic vehicles where paint repairs and cosmetic condition can have a much higher impact on the car’s resale value and aesthetics. PPF is better at overall protection, particularly against scratches and rock chips. Although it can be much more expensive, with partial front PPF costing $800-$1500 and full body PPF costing around $4000-$8000. For someone with a
$200K+ Lamborghini, this level of protection makes sense. But for someone with a daily driven Lexus they plan to sell in a few years, it’s probably overkill.
Ceramic coatings still provide excellent protection against contaminants, UV rays, hard water spots, and helps prevent mild scratches and swirl marks. If you desire protection and extra shine for your vehicle, a ceramic coating will still get the job done and will cost a fraction of what PPF will.
What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash, zelle, venmo, cash app, or credit card. We do not accept checks.
